Key Areas of Responsibility:

Yard Duties

• Ensuring vehicles are processed along company pathway for deliveries, collections, marketing and storage

• Clean vehicles as necessary to ensure high quality images

• Inventory parts on vehicle and image

• Processing logbooks, doc pack and keys that are either filed safety or disposed of correctly following GDPR rules

• Supporting GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLA’s

• Ensuring quality control every step of the way with no damage to vehicles or parts

• Liaising with customers or our drivers loading and offloading vehicles

• Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping within your selected functional and customer facing area and manage to a high standard to create a safe and streamline environment

Imaging & Grading Duties

• Responsible for parts inventory of breakers, imaging and grading of panels and parts for our sales channels

• Priority must be given to vehicles that have parts on requirement by our premium customers

• Ensure vehicles are to be brought by a FLT to designated Inventory / Image areas

• Clean vehicle as necessary to ensure high quality images

• Inventory parts on vehicle and image

• Grade parts and image using Company guidelines

• Ensure that a video is taken of the engine of it starting, running and showing exhaust to show any infringements

• Removed parts to be cleaned, tagged, imaged and packed and be ready for despatch and stored carefully

• Supporting with processing stock inventory based on decisions made on journey of stock, whether it be Parts Sales (breaker), Vehicle Sales (Auction) or ELV (end of life/scrap) to maximise value and return for SYNETIQ

Here’s what you bring:

• Suitable candidates must have a full driving license

• Experience of working outside in all weathers

• The ability to accurately record the damage of vehicles, onto our system in a clear and concise manner

• Experience of using a forklift would be an advantage but not essential (onsite Forklift training with a reputable provider will be funded by the company)

• Able to work as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Excellent attention to detail

• Basic IT skills

• Previous experience working in a salvage site and knowledge and/or an interest in motor vehicles would also be desirable but not essential

This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS, Finance, Right to work and reference checks.
