Parts Collections Supervisor

Join our Warehouse Team at our Head Office in Doncaster!

We have an exciting opportunity for Parts Collections Supervisor to oversee our Warehouse & Quality Control operations. Your role will involve maintaining optimal efficiency and effectiveness within the Warehouse & Quality Control function, supporting customers’ needs with the parts they and purchased and stepping in for the Team Leader when needed.

Warehouse

  • Receive goods in from Dismantling and check operating standards, quality and appearance all match our inventory and stock control systems and databases
  • Ensure all second-hand parts are visually checked to determine whether the part needs regrading or is suitable for resale, reconditioning, export, scrap or surplus to requirements in accordance with agreed standards/processes (VRA)
  • Ensure parts are cleaned, imaged, packaged & tagged as required
  • Allocate all parts in the appropriate stores location and the database updated accordingly
  • Work to the fulfilment of all customer orders within set SLAs, picking parts and moving these to the correct area for dispatch to the customer
  • Provide general assistance and advice, responding to enquiries, advising of suitable alternatives and checking, monitoring and managing parts’ availability
  • Assist with and adhere to stock taking processes, stock movements, any damaged or redundant parts are removed from shelves and the database updated accordingly
  • Process returned parts to determine if the part is suitable for resale, regrading or disposed of
  • Utilise integrated systems and standards to enable all orders to be fulfilled to our customers, ensuring each item to undergo stringent quality control
  • Fully understand and utilise integrated systems within the business to achieve the overall processing of orders including Frontier software, TSD and BigChange
  • Work to the SLA adherence for all orders, prioritising selected customers
  • Identify all parts correctly and locate in relevant depot, storage type, aisle, rack, level and bin in line with Inventory, Pricing & Stock Control processes
  • Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping withing your selected functional area and manage to a high standard to create a safe and streamline environment

You are responsible for ensuring that RB Global & SYNETIQ Operational Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) within your area of responsibility are met and recorded onto the RB Global EHS System (Velocity). This will include as a minimum expectation:

  • Daily Pre-Job Safety Meetings
  • Monthly Forklift Truck Safety Observations
  • Monthly Spill Kit Inspections
  • Monthly First Aid Kit Inspections
  • Monthly Recording of Fire Safety Checks
  • A Monthly Site Inspection
  • One Hazard/Unsafe Condition reported Per Month
  • One Stop Audit Per Month
