Key Areas of Responsibility:
Imaging & Grading Duties
- Responsible for parts inventory of breakers, imaging and grading of panels and parts for our sales channels
- Ensure vehicles are brought by an FLT to designated Inventory / Image areas
- Clean vehicle as necessary to ensure high quality images
- Inventory parts on vehicle and image using the PDA inventory matrix
- Grade parts and image using Company guidelines
- Complete any training requirements for the role
- Ensure that a video is taken of the engine of it starting, running and showing exhaust to show any infringements
- Removed parts to be cleaned, tagged, imaged and packed and be ready for sending to despatch or warehouse
- Supporting with processing stock inventory based on decisions made on journey of stock, whether it be Parts Sales (breaker), Vehicle Sales (Auction) or ELV (end of life/scrap) to maximise value and return for LKQ SYNETIQ.
- Supporting GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLA’s.
- Ensuring quality control every step of the way with no damages to vehicles or parts
- Destickering (taking stickers off vehicles) in line with client agreements and compliance
- General yard duties from time to time
- Maintaining the highest health & safety standards within work environment
Yard Duties
- Clean vehicles and remove any rubbish as necessary to ensure high quality images
- Ensure all personal effects and documents are disposed of correctly following GDPR rules
- Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping within your selected functional and customer facing area and manage to a high standard to create a safe and streamline environment
Here’s what you bring:
- Suitable candidates must have a full driving license
- Experience of working outside in all weathers
- The ability to accurately record the damage of vehicles, onto our system in a clear and concise manner
- Experience of using a forklift would be an advantage but not essential (onsite Forklift training with a reputable provider will be funded by the company)
- Able to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Previous experience working in a salvage site and knowledge and/or an interest in motor vehicles would also be desirable but not essential
