Engine Prepper

We are seeking an Engine Prepper to join our team at our site in Gloucester. The Engine Prepper will be responsible for preparing engines for further processing by cleaning and inspecting them to ensure they meet quality standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail and knowledge of engines.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Remove and separate gearboxes from engines

• Remove engine ancillaries

• Prepare engines ready for sale including checking quality and testing that they are in good working order

• Imaging engines

• Using our bespoke computer system to add the engines to our inventory system

• Wrapping the engines ready for sale

Here’s what you bring:

• Have a good knowledge of vehicle engines

• Have a basic set of tools and impact gun

• Have good computer skills, with the ability to adapt to our bespoke parts software

• Have good attention to detail

• Ability to work in a competent and efficient manner

• Work well on your own or as part of a busy team

• Strong communication skills

• You will need to be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multi task methodically
