SYNETIQ is delighted to announce that it has signed a green parts contract with esure, to supply quality graded, recycled parts to its repairer network.
Partnering with the leading integrated vehicle salvage, dismantling and recycling company in the UK, for the procurement of environmentally sustainable parts, will allow esure to continue work on the decarbonisation of its supply chain.
The new agreement is the expansion of an existing partnership between esure and SYNETIQ which began in 2019, and means esure policyholders will be playing their own part in reducing the CO2 impact of collision repair.
Last year alone, esure’s repairer partners purchased over 3300 green parts from SYNETIQ, saving over 79,000kg of CO2e. The new agreement will look to build on this throughout 2022 and beyond.
Green parts are used OEM, non-safety critical items – such as doors, engines, headlamps and tailgates – selected from SYNETIQ’s comprehensive inventory. All items are cleaned, checked and graded based on condition, and held in stock before dispatch to repairer partners. Eliminating delay through supply chain issues, the use of green parts ensure customer vehicles are fixed faster and in a more sustainable way.

SYNETIQ now handles over 60,000 salvage and end of life vehicles each year, recycling an average of 96.3% of each end-of-life vehicle it processes – surpassing EU legislative targets.
