SYNETIQ has announced a new agreement with Becky Evans – star of new BBC series Gassed Up.

Becky – also known as ‘Queen B’ – is one of the UK’s leading female automotive influencers, with a significant social media following. The new arrangement will see Becky highlighting the benefits of green parts to a new consumer audience, following significant progress within the vehicle insurance and repair industry.

Enthusiasts can expect regular content via SYNETIQ’s YouTube channel, as well as new special series targeted at Becky’s 125,000-strong subscription base. As part of the arrangement, Becky will be uncovering the benefits of green parts, ahead of the launch of a special one-off series later this Spring.

Removed during the vehicle recycling process, green parts are a brilliant solution for private motorists looking to repair a damaged vehicle. Often found in the form of matching bumpers, doors or alloy wheels, green parts can not only save time and money – they can also help environmentally-conscious motorists reduce their carbon footprint.

Helen Carling, Head of Marketing at SYNETIQ, said: “We are so excited to work with someone as energetic and enthusiastic as Becky. It is clear to us that she shares the same values of our business, and we are also proud to be part of her journey as she changes perceptions in a male-dominated industry.”

Becky Evans said: “I’m delighted to be working with SYNETIQ on our new content series! When we first talked about the idea, I was instantly excited to see what we could create working together.

“SYNETIQ is a car lovers emporium and upcyclers dream. There are so many things that I want to see and do with the concept of sustainably recycling cars. I’m happy that I am working with a company that can help the environment and bring all my petrolhead plans to life.”
