We’re continuing to listen to feedback and look at the ways we can work more efficiently to benefit you, our business and the environment. We’ve looked at our delivery routes for parts as well as equipment and rolled out some positive changes in these service areas.

Delivery routes – parts

In November last year we introduced you to Richard Barmby, our new Warehouse and Dispatch Manager and gave you a sneak peek at some of the service improvements he has made during his first months.

This work has continued, and I’m pleased to share a couple of these updates with you.

We recognised the need to dedicate more resources to the South-east to increase the supply of green parts in that area.  Our Warley site has become a mini green parts hub, with three additional vans serving the surrounding area. This has created efficiencies by reducing the overall miles travelled, decreasing customer waiting times along with our carbon footprint.

Additional equipment to keep us moving forward

To be prepared for the winter months ahead, we’ve invested in additional equipment and resources to continue to deliver a quality service to all our clients. We’ve created room for more dismantling ramps – a 25% increase across our Doncaster, Gloucester and Winsford sites. Additional forklift trucks and scrap handlers have been brought in to move more vehicles effectively, increasing the speed of our onsite capabilities.
