Warehouse & Distribution Dispatch Coordinator – Doncaster

Overall Purpose of Role

Coordinating parts dispatch process ensuring all parts are loaded onto all vans (internal and couriers) on time and in full, in line with SLA’s, quality checks. Closely working with Warehouse & Distributions Team Leaders, drivers and operatives to ensure all works smoothly on own site and cross site along with Dismantling Team Leaders to ensure parts are transferred across in line with TSP requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and audit all orders using in house systems
  • Correctly utilise all in house and 3rd party delivery solution systems & portals to arrange correct delivery to customers in timely manner and meet SLA’s
  • Audit and correct any orders that do not meet required process standards
  • Oversee all orders and invoice line indicators & determine standards met upon each marker (PICK, QC, PACK, DISPATCH & DELIVERY)
  • Analyse orders & invoices using departmental standards and determine best route of shipment in accordance with all advice from relevant stakeholders
  • Intersect deliveries and orders at processing stage to categorise shipments from origin depot to final point of delivery
  • Carry out any admin duties deemed required for departmental operations
  • Arrange & monitor to completion deliveries, collections & returns on behalf of the business
  • Resolve any daily issues surrounding deliveries, collections and returns including any special requirements to improve customer service continuously
  • Liaise with all sales channels and Operations Team leaders/managers to increase departmental productivity
  • Communicate any issues to relevant colleagues, alongside any information that requires escalating to Line Manager
  • Support in-house van deliveries as and when required through cover and logistical changes
  • Audit stock and locations daily to provide visibility to the wider business and rest of network

Skills & Experience

  • Dispatch experience
  • IT Literate
  • FLT Licence would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure
