Vehicle Processing Team Leader | SYNETIQ an IAA company

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to join SYNETIQ as a Vehicle Processing Team Leader (Landing Pad) at our site on Empire Way in Gloucester.

Are you ready to oversee the Landing Pad where all vehicles arrive, get imaged, graded, and prepped for inventory?

This role is crucial, ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles into our sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising our goods in process, ensuring the yard is prepared at all times for all vehicles arriving, unloading safely and set up ready for front end inventory process
  • Ensuring vehicles in are received and processed in the Landing Pad in line with agreed operational procedures & client requirements, imaging, inventory, tagging parts, assessing quality, level of flood damage, starting engines to see if mechanics are in working order, arranging for vehicles to be jet washed and destickered.
  • Supporting with processing stock inventory based on decisions made on journey of stock, whether Parts Sales (breaker), Vehicle Sales (Auction) or ELV (end of life/scrap) to maximise value and return for SYNETIQ
  • Accountable for ensuring all GDPR & Salvage Personal Effects Team adhere with GDPR compliance & contractual SLA’s , ensuring all personal effects are removed compliantly and full GDPR processes are fulfilled

Here’s what you bring:

  • Strong product knowledge of vehicle parts across all makes and models
  • Relevant experience working in imaging and grading vehicles and parts and knowledge of recycling processes for metals and other components
  • Ability to liaise with stake holders at all levels and take lead on projects
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of analyzing and interpreting data to drive decisions and results
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at senior level
